KANPUR: A woman and her paramour were arrested on Friday for allegedly killing her husband in Bara Sirohi area. Naseema and her lover Anisul killed her husband Hafizul about two month ago. The headless body of Hafizul, a scrap dealer, a native of West Bengal, was recovered from a pond in Bara Sirohi in Kalyanpur on December 24. The Kalyanpur police registered a case of murder against them.
Naseema did not like Hafizul's constant objection to her extra-marital affair with Anisul, also a native of West Bengal. Naseema, Anisul, his friend Sanjay alias Pappu, a resident of Sahib Nagar in the city and another person killed Hafizul in his house. The four dumped his body in a pond in Bara Sirohi area of Kalyanpur.
